Speaker :    Patricia Stallworth, MBA

Program Topic:

The key reason to go into business is to make money. Yet many entrepreneurs ignore the money side of their business and neglecting it can lead to lower profits, business failures and lots of stress. Managing the money side of your business is not difficult, but like most things you get good at, it does require some effort on your part.

During this presentation she will walk participants through five savvy strategies to take control of their money to grow a profitable, sustainable business and, the good news is, you don’t have to be a math wiz to be successful.

Speaker Information:

Patricia Stallworth, MBA is a money coach and financial empowerment activist. She helps individuals and business owners live life on their terms by changing their relationship with money. Unlike typical financial advisors who do the work for you, she teaches her clients how to take control and manage their money to achieve the results they want.

Her philosophy is based on the principle of ‘teaching a woman to fish versus just giving her a fish,’ so she can continue to grow through her own efforts. She is the author of the Minding Your Money book series and the creator of the Minding Your Money Minute Podcast with 10,000+ listens per month.

Patricia has 20+ years’ experience working with companies like Deloitte & Touche and American Express Financial Advisors as well as teaching in the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) Program. She has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Black Enterprise and Essence Magazines.

Important parking and direction information:

There are many large events held at the center, mostly on the weekends. Because of that, they have several parking lots. The two lots that are closest to the building are the ones you want to park in, especially since it will be dark when we leave the center.

The first lot surrounds the building. There are about 35 spots there. The second lot is directly across from the front entrance. It’s a parking lot of a business that allows the center to use their lot for evening events. The sign says 200 - The Capital Companies. It’s on Bluestone Road, like the center, but the sign is on the side of the lot that faces the CityWalk shopping center. Heritage Green’s parking map does NOT have this lot marked.

Click here for directions, but use above information for parking lots.
