Organizing Tips:

  • If you have scraps of paper or receipts flying around your house, place an empty tissue box in each room. Wherever you come across a piece of paper, put it in the nearest box.
  • When you find yourself thinking, "I'll just put this here for now", consider taking the few extra steps to put it where it belongs.
  • Tie a brightly colored ribbon to your car antenna for easy spotting in a vast parking lot.
  • If it's not something you were going to buy any way then it's not a deal, no matter how big the discount.
  • If it doesn't serve a purpose or make you smile, get rid of it.
  • Don't bring anything into your home unless you have a place to put it (before it crosses the threshold).
