Organizing Tips:

  • Create a Happy Zone - make one spot in the house your personal space for peace and joy.
  • Make your Bed Every Day - will make your day start out just right.
  • Declutter Using Emotion as your Guiding Principle - have possessions that surround you be positive, i.e. things that you love and have special meaning.
  • End Each Day with a Completion Ritual - to assist in getting ready for next day and to keep your home in order, i.e. set out your clothes, wash the dinner dishes, go through the day's mail.
  • Use a Kitchen Timer for the Tasks You Dislike - Set the timer for 15 to 20 minutes to make a dent in your chore list.
