Every family should know the basics of disaster preparedness. They are as important as doing your taxes or writing a Will. Do you know the latest information about staying safe and "weathering" the storms ahead? Did you know disaster preparedness can be a revenue stream? Come learn the latest, ask your questions, and check out whether adding aspects of disaster preparedness to your organizing business might be a good fit.
Speaker Information:
Judith pioneered the Atlanta-based professional organizing company, FileHeads Professional Organizers in 1989. She is credited with launching an entire field of professional organizing specifically dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals who are challenged by chronic disorganization. Her depth of experience and humorous delivery has made her a popular international speaker. She has presented to over 200 organizations and companies in four countries.
Judith was a featured organizer on the TV series, “Buried Alive” and has over 80 media credits to her name. Respected by her peers as an industry-futurist and thought-leader, Judith is the recipient of the organizing industry’s highest honors including the Founder’s Award from the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), the President’s Award, and the Institute for Challenging Disorganization has honored her with the creation of the Judith Kolberg Award (and she is not even dead yet!)
Judith’s innovative organizing methods are described in four commercially-successful books which have sold nearly a half-million copies in the US, England, Korea, the Netherlands, Australia, and Japan.
A native of Levittown, New York, Judith is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton with a degree in Sociology. She currently lives in Atlanta, where she sees clients, writes, publishes, and takes care of her Mom.

Important parking and direction information:
There are many large events held at the center, mostly on the weekends. Because of that, they have several parking lots. The two lots that are closest to the building are the ones you want to park in, especially since it will be dark when we leave the center.
The first lot surrounds the building. There are about 35 spots there. The second lot is directly across from the front entrance. It’s a parking lot of a business that allows the center to use their lot for evening events. The sign says 200 - The Capital Companies. It’s on Bluestone Road, like the center, but the sign is on the side of the lot that faces the CityWalk shopping center. Heritage Green’s parking map does NOT have this lot marked.
